Hi all,

After reading through this forum I bought the correct leads for flashing my euro vox max,Anyway when I connect it all up,The install wizard comes on but after a few minutes it says no device detected,any one got any ideas on what I'm doing wrong ??

Have you connected the power supply to the box

Hi,

Yeah I had it connected,I followed the flashing guides for idiots and still failed !!!!

I not sure what I'm doing wrong though

When I'm trying to flash my box what cables should I have connected,I'm assuming the following....

Power,

serial cable for connecting to lap top

I've never tried a USB connection so don't know much about them but have a look in these posts and see if anything rings a bell.

Thanks for that smoggy,

From what I have read there,I require a driver for the cable to work,at the minute I have none,could this be my problem !!!

Could be, try going into device manager with the cable connected and see if you have any usb controllers with an exclamation mark next to them
also whilst in there try updating usb drivers

I tried up dating driver but nothing happened,your spot on with the usb controller with the exclamation mark though,Why is that there

The exclamation mark tells you it is not working or has a problem

i had the same problem i just updated my drivers for the usb host controllers and usb serial converter,my usb worked after that.just update you drivers its worth a try

That me tried updating every thing and still have the exclamaton mark.

It's got me beat now !!!!!
