ok i have an ntl 255 the black virgin media modem can u hack these if they are not updated with out lifting the chip? seen some place that you could with out lifting the chip?

when i just plug the power cable in the sync light just keeps flashing does this mean its updated and needs the chip lifting? thanks

you are going to need a MAX232 cable to find out, but on no account plug in cable feed or it will update
