Default Complete n00b Question...

right, i shall be moving soon

ive checked the postcode and the area i'm going into has VM (Ipswich IP2 area).

what i need to know, as someone who has only ever used ADSL is,

do i need to have the line activated or is it always on?

i've tried to search for such a topic on here but to no avail.

do i have to get the basic package for instance?

you wont no m8 till you get there round by me they have been disconnecting feeds from the main box but u should always pay for something

It could be connected but could be cut off any time if they need a new connection for a new customer in green box, its always best to have the basic package.
