Whats happened?!

I have a eurovox max v 2008 software version 1.0 stc4 April 18 2008, using symbol rate 6.887, i live in Manchester region, have had the box for 3weeks. yesterday afternoon the channels went off and it said no signal, unfortunately before i did a new powerscan before reading this site which others had said just leave it and it will come back on. I did the scan and got minimum channels, but everytime i changed the symbol rate to 6.887 it just reverted back to 6.952, got so fed up did a factory reset, and now i have nothing at all! just the message 'no transponders to scan'
Any ideas as its going to be a long weekend with 4 kids and no disney channels!!

Maybe the supply signal has gone, can you check with another box etc.
Are you sure you are scanning with correct symbolrate
Check the CDF thread there maybe a channel data file for your area

I connected up my old chipped n** box and it works fine i have all of the channels back without updating the card ???
I was told that the symbol rate for manchester was 6887., and just to show my ignorance whats a cdf file and whats it for?

You can load all your channel data (cdf) ie. frequencies etc from your box onto pc. If you run into problems or want to download new software you can download all your channel info without having to scan. By the way I think symbol rate 6952 is the one for your area.
