cas 3 and diablo 2,3 problem

have just recieved my cas 3 and diabolo cam
downloaded the software
but when hooked up to the pc and try to connect to the cam
i get no response from cam

any ideas would be great

these are both brand spanking new does cam need to formatted

Another basic question, when you state you've downloaded the software, is this both CIS 8.4 from duolabs and Underworld 113?
Have you checked in Device manager that your Cas 3 is recognised?
What Operating System are you running?

What are you trying to do?
If your Diablo is new then you need to load the underworld113.dup file. If your Cas 3 has both red and green lights then there shouldn't be a problem.
Start up the Diablo Software, by starting up your Cas 3, select Cam Module tab and click on the two Diablo icons.
Click on the little icon, with 3 dots, at the end of the File Name address bar.
Navigate to underworld113.dup and open, the green traffic light should now be on the Start Update icon, press this and wait for it to load.
Please post back with the results of what happens.

never knew you needed to do that

two things have happened its poped up a window saying it is 2.2 and go to duolabs to download upgrade to 2.3

and cas 3 says wait for diablo cam connection

Did you buy a new Diablo 2.3 Cam or the older 2.2 Cam?
The newer 2.3 cam can open the conax packages of DigitAlb 16E, and Canal Digital 1W, the older 2.2 cam can not.
You can upgrade the older 2.2 cam to the 2.3 version for 30 Euros, but I have never heard of anyone being prompted to do that before.
Try exiting the Diablo Cam set up and click on the Utilities tab and the Common Interface Host icon to see what is displayed.
