Perfectly clear - you said it worked for 10 mins before you got the 'code update' message and I'll repeat - the codes did not update last night.

just had a email back from the kryptview website,I asked them would there be any more updates in the future,they replied that there would be many more.I dont think this box is dead just yet.
I must say they do reply to any questions that you need to know very quickly,normally within 24 hours.

To bounder1 yes they have excellent support which doesnt work. I got two file from them none of them worked actually. Excellent effort thought quick reply within 24 hours.

To "Lucky13" yes the code didn't update. Here is what i did:
1) I had 04/04 firmware installed and all the channels was stored.
2) I went back to 21/03 firmware i did not have to scan for channels (Excellence of kriptview firmware does not mess with channels)
3) Channel was running like dream ( I am saying dream because that was supposed to do the box)
4) After 10 min started showing waiting for update code thats it. I don't know why its happened no idea.

Now all i need is entering the code manually. I am not bothered about new firmware. As long as i can see something on tele.

the firmware for the 21/03 will not au as like the ev, starview, ect will not au either.the encryption method changed on the 04/04 for all these type of stbs, manual entry of keys only unless flashed with new firmware

Is it true? I can remember vm's attack and i used to enter key manually on ev to watch channels and it used to stay for one day... how ev was doing it? The firmware did not came out then...

there could be a possibility that the firmware that is being emailed is in the beta stages, there fore within some areas will work fine others not so, hence the dont release it ...

if detailed feed back is given to the developers maybe they could rectify it

There should be some kind of feedback form or call for beta tester i dont mind giving details feedback but the problem is they have nothing in their site. I will email them the total situation.
