Cant find channels

Hi im all new to this and confussed. I have flased my box with the 04042008 firmware no probs. I keep reading this


1. do factory reset
2. auto search
3. choose network tw
4. only scan network.
5. press the green button
6. choose the net id
7 press ok

The problem is i do the first 5 then it starts to scan. It never gives me the option to select the net id. I am in tw and I selected that. When it scans it says already exsit then jumps to channel scan but finds nothing.

Go to user preference then delete all channels then do factory reset. should work.

Right i've done that. Still same I select telewest it drops to the bottom, i press start scan (green button) its scans and says already assigned then next screen is tv channels on left n radio on right after bout 10 mins it goes back to easy install screen again. I dont want to sound stupid but when its scanning and the already assigned comes up if i press up a list of numbers apper in this kinda format [00000] are these the network id's?

Hi,
i have just installed the software on my new kryptview (Kryptview_04042008_UK),
the screen has now gone from yellow to blue so i think that has worked.
however i have set the scan for ntl (that's what i was on) and no joy the scans 7 tp
but no channels..........please help tar

which area do you live in as if the wrong network is picked you will only get 7 tps.
