255 never been pluged in
Hi
i purchased an ambit 255 from ebay with the intentions of modifying it, the fella i got it off sed its never been pluged in? can anyone help me confirm this please i havnt powered it up or put the cable feed into it just yet unill i get some propper info on it,am i doing the write thing by not jumping in head first? thuglife  PS i have a max232 cable as well so if someone can put me on the write track or link me to some info it would be much appreciated  |

a quick way 2 tell if its received update [bricked] is to plug power lead in.if the send light flashes rapidly its bricked and you need 2 lift the chip and reprogram

plug it in use max cable but dont on any account plug cable feed in

hi ginge thanks for that info ill give it a go and thanks to 666 but how do i no if its took the update when i plug the max232 into it
will the p option have gone or is it already gone in 255's if you no what im trying to get at. cheers |
