A small point, but worth mentioning just in case anyone has a fix.
My EPG is one hour behind Dublin time. I've tried resetting the time and all the various GM+1 options. It has proved impossible to get them in sync. currently the time on the box is one hour behind so that it is in sync with the EPG. It's not a major problem, just a tad annoying. I have got them in sync momentarily, but the EPG goes blank or then goes back out of sync. Anyone any ideas ??

Its a problem specific to the Irish EPG stream and the EV.
1. Pull plug on the back of the EV for a few seconds then plug back in again.. 2. When EV powers up and you see 12:00 on the LCD, immediately press menu, config and time settings. 3. Set correct time using GMT settings. 4. Then turn GMT OFF. 5. Press blue button to save and exit. It may take more than one attempt so just be patient, it does work. One thing to note though when you have the EPG correct, is to just put it in standby at night, if you unplug it you will have to go through the whole process again. |

If you disconnect the coaxial cable from the box at No.1 and reconnect at No.5 you can take your time with the process and not have the panic at No.2 lol
You may need to go to User Installation and press Update Channels to download your EPG to the box faster.

Always found this the fastest way:
1. Menu / Config / Time Settings and set GMT to OFF. Press blue button (Save and Exit) 2. Remove power cable from back of box, count to five and re-insert. 3. When the clock changes from 12:00 - again go to Menu / Config / Time Settings and set GMT to OFF. Press red button (Save). Manually set to correct time. Press blue button (Save and Exit).
