hello, i bought a flashed ambit 250 off e-bay and have been using it for a few months no problem

recently some pages wouldn't load up so i would leave modem then it would be fine after a few minutes. then a few days ago no pages would load so i changed my mac address ambitconfig with no joy, so i went back to my normal modem which worked fine.

so yesterday i tried my flashed modem which worked but takes me to virgin media page saying it doesn't recognise my connection and wants me to set up the modem e.g register my details, and i cant go to any other web pages.

whats goin on here guys?? do i need to re-flash modem or what?

any help appreciated.

i think your mac address has stopped working, change the mac and see if hat helps

i have tried about 5 different mac addresses mate.

This happens in some areas when you force a config file that doesn't match the MAC

unplug the power to the modem then when reinserting thepower watchthe lights the power light will come on and then if send flashes 1st youre modem is bricked no use bin it if sync flashes then you need a new mac
