I got it in the end! Turns out the bloke was trying to message me but they weren't getting through. He wasn't really worried how much he got for it, but just wanted to get it shifted. Went to pick it up today and it is in excellent condition, a bit of rust on the polar mount, but I'll soon fix that.
I still can't believe no one bid above me. The galvanised steel base is worth more than £12.50 alone!

Just trying out now with my hdsm. I haven't even levelled it properly and it's getting the arc from 28E to 30W. What a deal! Beats that bloke from Jersey, was it?
Anyone else get anything similar for under £20?

Not installed, but here it is just after I got home on 0.8W connected up to the HDSM

Not in your league but I did get a 1m dish on Ebay for 99p - picked it up on the way back from a faily event so even though it was 100 miles away didnt cost me any extra costs!! The a week later I picked up a Motek usals motor also on Ebay - it came with a 60cm dish - bracket - lnb - 30m cable - £19 and only 5 miles from home!!!

So my 1m motorised setup cost me £20!! Oh and he also threw in his comag sl65 receiver in with the deal!!!

And he had the motor bracket on upside down thats probably why he was getting rid of it as it wouldnt sweep the arc properly!!!

Thats a great result joekir!

I once won a IRTE 1.2m dish and polar mount for £2.00

but didnt bother going to get, passed it on to a mod over at satellites.co.uk

And he had the cheek to complain it took him ages too dismantle!

hi

good bargain --
is that a -- edision SL-5 L.N.B you have on it ?
i got a channel master -- 1.00 metre --a couple of months ago
and i tried 4 or 5 l.n.b.,s on it including -- Sharp white case -- and inverto c-120 with c.m. feedhorn .
the Edision SL-5 performed best

interesting as i have that lnb and was wondering which lnb to use on an andrews 90cm dish

chorleycat, did you test an invacom lnb on the dish ?
