Exclamation Encryption?

Hi, i'm a total newbie to satellite and have just bought a technomate 1000D that is patched with the latest patch. What encryptions does this allow me to view, Conex, Viaccess, dreamcrypt etc??? Also, i was thinking of a 80cm dish and a MTI blue LNB, is this ok?

Default Re: Encryption?

Hi, the dish and the LNB would be OK, but if you have room, a 1m would be better.

Also you are going to need a way of receiving from different satellites, like a Diseqc motor, or a multi-LNB bracket for the dish.
A motor is the best option.

You would have to check with the "patch maker" as to what encryptions it can cope with.
