I'm not using the cable card anymore due to not being in a cable area anymore () but i'd agree..

a) i thought the V key was a random number that meant nothing.. u just need the V key to get the others... (atleast that's how it worked for me.. i set my V key to 1234 and it worked all of a sudden and never had to change it)

b) if ur getting nothign atall.. i'd say it's a codec problem.. the codecs i ended up using were the K-lite codec pak and i installed PDvD 8 and the codecs that came with that gave me BBCHD with "only" 60% cpu usage ; i was using an onboard ATI 3200 HD integrated mobo.

other than that.. i'd say you need to check you transponders etc.. i have "bruteforce" ini's for the UK for most of the commonly used apps... let me know if you need them.

PS: it seems (prbrably a coincidence) that almost as soon as vplug 2.7 supported Au in the UK again.. virmin stopped cycling their keys every god damn day... more than likely means they are working on some new system that will take the community another 3 weeks to figure out.

Edit : excuse the either over use or incorrect use of punctuation.. i am currently fuelled on enough vodka to power the space shuttle for the next .. well 45 minutes realistically.
