Setting Net Id Probz

hey guys,i got a di4000n.im trying to program the net id n pin. whats happens is i loads all the files int ext n 1.6 het id hex program em onto the card remembering to program the int last.done n dusted. the putting in the freq n the sym rate.the box restarted n then it says nit n the goes err12 err11. what am i doing wrong?

Your not doing anything wrong... this is normal when jumper has been pulled to reset pin etc... I'll send a pm with the error codes for you to look at.

yeah but i thought its ment to restart itsself?and another thing should it be plugged into a live feed while doing this?

Just leave it a while its trying to set.

Yes you need cable connected.

Boot box with cable connected into eng/diag screen, find netid page. Stuck ya card in and sit back.

Providing you have done card right, the box will reboot and update... let it finish. You will know when done. Forget error codes.

Pop your viewing card in and I always reboot... ya done!

When you have your 3 files for your fun card, namely - exteeprom.hex, inteeprom.hex and your flash.hex do the following in the order explained and it will not fail my friend!

Erase the card fully, then write each file individually to the card starting with exteeprom.hex [This file may also erase card as it written].

Next write to card the inteeprom.hex.

Then your flash.hex

NOW THE IMPORTANT BIT:

When writing the flash to the card, it's more than likely corrupted the inteeprom.hex file [on the card]. So... now rewrite to the card the inteeprom.hex.

So then, 3 files and written to the card individually starting with exteep then inteep and then the flash, and finishing off with inteep as it may be corrupt.

Before booting box into eng/diag screen, completely power-down, pull jumper, boot into eng/diag, select screen that displays network id [at the same time you can check to make sure PIN, NetID etc... have been cleared], put jumper back on [be scareful were ya put ya pinkies - no zapping allowed], insert fun card.

If all is in order the box will re-boot/update.

When complete insert viewing card and re-boot again.

no i dont that part.i mean i got the au fix off big maq and then loaded the same exp i used for the net id on to the card afta i had erased everything.put it in the box n now i get the fta channels only.im thinking i mite have to change the date with narga date
