open up the Dbox and look at the tuner, there is a chip on there labelled "ATMEL" you need a BGA cooler or simple VGA and just stick this on the chip



thats if it is a sagem box, if it is a noki Dbox then there is a transistor in the tunerboard that needs replacing, cannot be done with a soldering iron, you need a hot air station or infra-red solder station

after trying so many images i now no it isnt a image fault....When i plug my connection feed into the box after a couple of mins the tuner signals go awol and it causes the box to crash.....when my feed isnt in the box is ok and stays powerd on...so looks defo a tuner problem...

I beg to differ on that opinion, a simple low-wattage soldering iron, a set of cutters and the new transistor is all you need, here's the proof:
