Default dbox2 overheating (i think)

hi i have a dbox2.. when i plug in its ok for about 10 mins the it weill just freeze and the only way to change channel or anything is to do a restart but then it frezes within seconds....it sounds like when it warms up it crashes...what could it be? tuner,power , motherboard ,is it just a nakerd box>?

Reflash it and give it plenty of vetilation
If prob persists connecta null moedem cable and post a bootlog
poss hardware fault .......paul

Try changing the ucodes or if it's a Sagem box try running it on gbox.
The freezing has got fook all to do with overheating.

i had the same problem with SS ENIGMA V3 m8 just reflash the box should be fine.

nah ive reflashed and used over 3-4 images still doing the same ive noticed that the ber is touching 20000+ surley that isnt gd.....im quite sure that its my tuner but if it is will it cause my box to toattly freze im not meaning the picture im meanin the box itself:

oh just noticed somet else ... it only frezzes when i have my ariel pluged into the tuner

people have recommended that taking the modem out of the box helps reduce heat....didn't help mine though

try an img with the gbox emu, using evo to update keys...

Have a look at this thread mate, I had the same problem but now all sorted using Lincsat's image (with a bit of tweaking). Any questions give me a shout.
