ITV regional no longer FTA (?) - Techwatch: Satellite TV forums, FTA, Cable, Hardware, & Tech forums

Hello
Just a quick query.
my local itv region seems to be no longer fta. checking on the other regions most are fta, but a couple are not.
Have i got a glitch or will they all go?
i am using a technomate 6900

I have checked on the kingofsat page

and some itv regions are locked with videoguard (sky encryption)

i hope i will not lose itv, but i am not hopeful.
can anyone shed some light on this

They have been moved off Astra 2D which has a spot beam onto the UK. I think its now on Astra 2C. It has been encrypted to stop people outside the 2D footprint from viewing it

Its probably only a temporary thing as far as i am aware

The ones that moved onto astra 2C have started moving back onto astra 2D 10891H fta.

A channel switch around. The channels had to go somewhere during the switch...

Yeah my ITV Yorks East disappeared, been tuning into Granada instead. Hope it comes back soon!!

ITV Yorkshire E has moved to 12402V 27500 2/3

Its scrambled at ftv level though - its not fta

Does that mean all these new freesat boxes can not get it either, I find this incredable, giving it to Murdoch on a plate.
