Default Has anyone actually used a Fracarro Dish?

Hi there,

Just wondered if anyone here had a Fracarro Penta dish, http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Fracarro-Penta...742.m153.l1262

I'm still looking at replacing my standard zone 2 sky mini-dish and with the local council insisting that 90cm is the max size I can put on the house, I was wondering how good these were...also, would they be multi-lnb compatible?

Cheers

Al

Ive put a Fraccaro Penta together today. I was just about ready to start a direct comparison test with one of the spare 80 cm dishes on a weak satellite when the rain arrived......

Im actually quite impressed with how solid it is - its nicely engineered, and fairly heavy.

It would be great to know how the test goes once the rain goes off...give it a week or two and the summer might appear again :-)

Looks like I have found my next dish..

One thing that makes me wonder about those Fracarro dishes is they call them the "Penta", meaning Five, so someone can't count the sides, or it's version number Five...

What you on about?, it has 5 sides, as they have chopped off the bottom corner.

Which size did you get Analog?

The 85cm is supposed to perform like a 1m, I would be interested in the results too.
