How can I get rid of the pin number on Pace 4000. I know the pin number is 1234 but I have to enter it on every sky movie channels and adult channels. I want to get rid of it so it doesn’t ask for any pin. I have tried the settings menu but can’t find any options to turn it off.

I have set the netid on this pace by netid tutorial. Even though I choose not to have any pin it still asks me for a pin when I go on sky movie channels.

Can anyone help? Thanx in advance.

What software is on the box?

you cannot get rid of pin option, this was implemented to stop youngsters accessing stuff they shouldnt watch

but i thought if you get your box to update from 3.2 to 3.6 virgin changed it coz subby customers had problems with it too

Surely there must be an opyion for us adults. It would be frustrating to flick through channels after 10pm to find yourself entering pin over and over again. I am not talking about just entering it once. If i flip from sky comedy to sky action it asks for a pin. And when i flick back it asks the pin agaian.

Half an hour ago ....lol. I did it myself.

Its just pass 10 pm. Now the sky movies dont ask for pin code. Its just the adult channels now but i would like to get rid of the pin from them.

Use Netid to change the pin

With a 4001 you can pull the red jumper and then reset the pin in the eng menu , but no there no way of getting rid of it no matter how frustrating it is
