Default Can I do this for Sky ?

I have a technomate 5400 with a motrised dish. Is it possible to have some sort of splitter So i could put the sat cable into the sky receiver also and switch between receivers - I like the sky EPG and would use this most of the time. I got the TM for the footy so wont be using it a lot... does that make sense! Any help apprecuated as always...
Joe.

Hi,

You can't use a splitter as such, no.

But there are three other options-

1. Fit a TWIN LNB and run another cable to the Sky box
2.Use the IF loopthrough and run this to the Sky box
3. Stick up a minidish, and run the Sky box off that.

Option 3 is the best option.
Option 1 is the 2nd best option, but you must remember to leave the dish parked at 28E, whenever you are not using the other satellites.

Option 2, will only work properly if you put the TM into standby, and leave the dish parked on 28E, when you need to use the Sky box.

Iam currently using the loopthrough, but I need to order a QUAD LNB for one of my minidishes so that it can have its own feed.
