hi guys can one of you help me got a Willem45 i have lifted the TSOP out and now i what to put in the Willem45 which way do's it go
when i go on id tab all i get is [---] nothing else so i doing some thing wrong
i need lots of help plz i look at some tut on this but not got my headround this yet
so plz plz help

you need to line it up so that the corner of the chip with the dot printed into it is aligned with pin1 on your willem mate.

also check your willem is configured and responding properly by doing the hardware test and / or trying a simpler DIP style chip first.

Check what rev of the willem SW you've got. I'm on v0.98d8, using a willem 5.0c with tsop adapter.

the sw is 0.97ja m8 i got the tosp in the Willem45 but when i click on ID
nothing come up m8 i set it like the tut says to do some thing wrong but what can you help m8 have you got pic off how it look in the Willem45
i can see the dot on the right hand side

Strangely with willem proggers what your 4.5 looks like depends on who made it, and the SW revisions are a mess too.

Ok hopefully your progger with tsop inserted looks as shown in my artists impression.

Set the DIP switches as shown in SW (after setting the correct TSOP model thru device menu), if still no good perform HW test / try another chip.

thank for the pic m8 done it now i am doing two modem one a 250 & 255
i erase the chip as it says in the tut what flash do i put back on the chip

hi guys i have put the chip back in but the is no p i put Willem_Ambit_250_255_Infinite on the chip then i put my max232 on did what the 250 tut says put no p can you guys help plz

ive always flashed with origional firmware first then flashed from there.

Sorry not been on last couple o days. PM me an email address mate and i'll send you the dump.

Oh btw never used the file Willem_Ambit_250_255_Infinite myself but to save you lifting the chip again you can probably restore the bootloader using the softjtag program.

Hi, Can someone please help me with the setting as i have mine set to

1,2,& 4 is set to off, And No 3 is on. on the small dip block &

1,4,7,9,11, is off. And 2,3,5,6,8,10,&12 is set on. On the other but when i try to erase a chip it goes to 3% and says it's erased but it's not. Can someone please help me try and sort it. Thanks
