Default Flashing on Cable & Sat.

Hi, could somebody in this section tell me if it is the same to reflash a sat Dbox2 as it is to do my cable box, and if so is the outcome the same, or would you need cards and things to get it running. Thanks, or maybe I should ask in the Sat section any help will be much appreciated, thanks again.

dbox2 for cable or satellite have different tuners, the modulation and frequency ranges are different, therefore you need a dbox-2 cable with dvb-c tuner for cable and a dbox-2 satellite with a dvb-s tuner for satellite....., as for flashing i guess it must be similar as humforce suggests....i thought sat wasn't ha*cked and u had to card share but things may have moved on now....

I would be very surprised if that were true. You can't on 28E that's for sure.

Yes I know, But the OP doesn't want to watch 57 channels with nothing on !!!!!

I'm sure the OP was hoping to view premium channels with this piece of kit !!!!

That is not possible.
