Default frozen screen with cam

Hi

I have tried to record from my Fortec Passion onto my dvd recorder.I can not leave the process to its own devices as I have to check it it all the time as my box freezes with the cam in.If I remove the cam and reinsert it its fine for a while. This happens on all channels.I suspect this is with the heat generated even with running the receiver with the cover down.Anybody else have the same problem?

What type of CAM are you using?
Never heard of this problem.
I have a Dragon CAM installed with Predator 366 and it has never locked up and records freely.
