When I connect my router to VM I get assigned the a hostname of
cpc1-burn6-0-0-cust518.renf.cable.ntl.comis this mine or will it change ?

I want to know so I can use it to connect to my house from a remote place.

any help appreciated?

google whats my ip, thats the address to connect to remotly. the other one is ur customer ref with virgin, id suggest u edit it.

i think the cust*** bit changes, but every thing else should be same
