They would be better getting their domestic service sorted out first. That bollocks with the football the other night is but one example of their inability to produce anything worth while.
Very best regards Wez

HI Bob, it was supposed to be in HD, but there was a complete cockup, there was no invite to use the red button to go to HD and it was into the second half before the damn thing was sorted. The words ****up and brewery spring to mind. The picture on ITV HD is nothing near as good as that on the BBC. The BBC have a very good service, about 4 1/2 hours each night and then it is repeats all the way. Now that the fecking tennis has started, they have it in HD, you can see every blade of grass, suppose there will be little of that by the end of it, not that I shall be watching it.
Very best regrads Wez

Hope that you have a good load of patients Bob, it will be some time before there is a HD channel from RTE. They are still broadcasting signals in VHF and it is a pain, because the VHF ones are H polarised and the UHF are V, might be the other way round, but the result is that you really need two antennas for them. I have one in the bedroom, but the signal is very poor, as I can't get a signal from the nearest mast, because there is a hill in the way.
There is some chat, my friend who has the workshop for TVs and Sats, says that they will be doing a digital package soon and that Dublin will be on it very soon. Very best regards Wez
