On 42E, there is nothing doing.


If the channel is encrypted you will get "scramble channel"

If the sig quality is insuficient you get a blank screen.


Sometimes you get " No video or audio", this means the channel is working, but the provider is not transmitting anything on it.

Robbo, there is a bug where the quality is 90% and the channel goes black with audio. you got back and forth once and it works again.

Im not sure if i will tinker with it or not but.. I would like to know however if its possible to 'unscramble' a channel.

I don't keep up to date, there might be the odd biss channel on 42E, I don't know. To get anywhere really, you need to go to 1W, 13E or 19E at the moment.

There are about 10 channels that have just a black screen. They are not pay-for channels. I thought at first that the dish had moved since i did my first scan but when i did a new scan it picked these channels up again but with still just a black screen. Help would be appreciated, many thanks.

Ok,

11852V- can't receive on my minidish signal too low, fine on 1m

11858V-ditto

11867V- yep can get that OK, very marginal quality, fine on 1m


12536V- can't get on my minidish,get signal( weak!!) but blank picture on 1m, try a rescan.

EDIT rescanned and got the channel.

12540H- can't get on my minidish, fine on 1m dish

12590V- cant get on my minidish, fine on 1m dish

12609V- can't get on my minidish, fine on 1m dish

12614V- can't get on my minidish, nor on 1m dish. EDIT Now got weakish on 1m, had to change symbol rate to 3333.

12680H- can't get on my minidish. Fine on 1m dish

11781V -Pixelated on minidish, fine on 1m, had to insert new transponder and rescan.

11882V -getting on minidish but heavy pixelation. Fine on 1m


The bottom line is , get a bigger dish

What you have is fine for the stronger transponders, but for the less strong ones, it is too small.
