Samsung 2100 Newbie Question

Ok does it have a serial cable and a usb cable or is it just the USB version??
If its the usb version then you need to setup the VCP settings on it, this means Virtual ComPort as you arent using a true com port, once these are setup you can then use the option to go into phoenix mode, is there anything in the readme files on infinity website??

just found out the infinity usb version does not have the pheonix capability. does this mean i need to buy a different programmer???

infinity website actually states that the "usb Infinity" does not have pheonix capability. There is only a usb connection on it and no option for vcp

Ah yes you seem to have a problem there then matey as the one you have is not suited to mosc cards im afraid hence the error! you need to infinity usb phoenix OR if you have a 9 pin com port on the pc then get the true phoenix programme that uses usb and serial cable (dynamite is good around the £30 mark from unapit.com) as it stands at the moment you wont get anything with theone youve got, as its got the numbers on it then you could just get a funcard and programme that with the programmer you have there !!
