Hi this is my first post. I am a total novice but am really interested in learning.
I previously bought a modded samsung 2100c. It then stopped working. Unfortunately I have lost the contact of the guy who set it up for me. Underneath the box he has written on a label 3 seperate codes. they are as follows: a 16 digit alpha numeric code, an 8 digit alpha numeric code and a 4 digit code (the 4 digit i presume is the pin number) It alreadu has a veiwing card in it. So my question is this. What equipment would I need in order for me to be able to get my box working again? The current state is that when i boot it up it keeps telling me that my card is not inserted properley. Sorry if this answer has been answered anywhere else. Thanks guys |

Hey guys,
After reading all threads, I was convinced that the guy who modded my box had NOT cut the talkback. Read all threads and found that in the settings > technical stuff menu it stated that the dhcp retrun path was ON (hence the talkback had not been cut) So found the 2 resistors and popped them off. Went back to the settings menu and low and behold, the return path was OFF. Hurrah I geuss this is why my box has never really worked. I've ordered my programmer so will wait and see if I'm successful in sorting my box once an for all. Cheers for all the help so far guys ![]() |

The saga continues.....
I received my programmer this morning. But, the reader is unable to recognise the viewing card. Also when usiig nagraedit4.1 i get the following error: Opening of COM1 was successful Reset failed Error reseting card, ATR string invalid Closing of COM1 was successful After reading through the other posts i have come to the conclusion that my card is probably fried / copput / knackered!!!! Would you agree? Just to be sure I have ordered some spare funcards. |

Dont jump to the conclusion the card is knackered !!! It could quite easily be the setup of the programmer,
Have you set the progger into phoenix mode?? if not then it will return the same error as above?? make sure its in phoenix mode then try again, Marc |
