well you see a few years ago i bought a ch*pped ntl box for a 100 quid which replaced my legal box.so as soon i got my chIpped box i downsized my package to the basic package(5 a month).so for a few years this box has just been lying around.thanks

hi ive tried to cut the bottom right leg on the 10 legged chip but now my box is stuck in tune please help?

well try booting of and holding button down power on and let go when u see boot.

thanks for the reply i have just tried that however it did not work.so i tried pulling the red jumper(as someone on the forum advised me to do so).and i have gone into engineers menu my network id is showing as ***** before it used to be 00012.can anyone please tell me how to change it back to 00012,as this may be the problem?thanks!!

which area are u? if u r in pure area leave connected for 25 minutes it will sort itself out if u are in different area the n u need to do the net id using funcard.

Erm Wrong!

The 4001 will only work in a pure area it will not work anywhere else , no amount of setting the netid will help as it is not designed to work on anything other than the pure platform.

Also if it is or was (as in your still paying virmin for it) then you shouldnt have touched it,as technically it is still a subbed piece of gear,

hi i have left my box connected displaying tune and it has been around 1 hour and 30 minutes ,so is it actually doing anythink?any ideas thanks!
