Hi All,
Just general chit chat about what your guys opinion is on the best box in the current market place. I have a EuroMax Blue and have neva had any probs. However am thinking of getting a new box and wondered what the best options is ? Starview ? Eurovox ? DBox? Can anyone offer some advice please. Also are there any boxes with a HD built in ? (Similar to TV Drive/SKY+) Thanks EAP |

The Kryptview ArNet box seems to be growing in popularity. As easy as the Eurovox MaxV to set up. This box will also autoscan ie. if the frequency a channel is broadcast on change the box will automatically update the frequency (the EV won't do this).
The KV is also made and developed (to my knowledge) in the UK. Personally have an EV myself that I wouldn't part with - but it's just another one to consider

eap. To answer your question about the HD. I think people were getting confused with it abreviated to High Definition.
I think you were on about a Hard drive to record. You can get a Dreambox and add a hard drive to the system http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/DreamBox-DM600...6.c0.m14.l1308 This box doesn't include a hard drive but you can get a about a 250gb one for about£40 now. Depends if you wanna upgrade your system. You can also connect the box to your network which therfore you can record to your pc via the network and do a whole other bunch of cool stuff. This is a linux box though and you would have to have some knowledge of networking and FTP. Hope this helps |
