I just bought PowerSync Unlooper to unlock mosc rom11.

Opening of COM1 was successful

it won't arrive till saturday, but what are the do's and don'ts? what should i b aware of what softwares tutorials do i need?

I have 3days headstart so any advice is really appreciated.

Its simple all you do is run a program called sidewinder!!

do you have a rs232 cable? i assum you do as you must be to get that message!?

No, doesn't it come with the unlooper if not where can i get it?

Not really !! why?? because it could be an infinity usb using virtual comport settings aye
IF you havnt got a true comport on the pc tho you could find issues using an unlooper although the Sidewinder should run via a usb serial adapter,BUT you cannot flash them via this, so i hope you have true com port on the pc if not then a pci card com port could be installed,

Ok already gettin confused, plz slow it down a bit. I got comport on my pc but do i need rs232 cable to connect the unlooper to the pc? and where can i get one?

What about the unlooper setting? i have heard its a headache so am slightly worried.

if your programmer is pluged into your com port you can use that lead

2 leads one is usb the other is serial com port.

PS i have 2 com ports in my pc Port1 Port2.
the infinity usb programmer i have came with serial comport of 9pin male to female.

thats fine you will need to use that cable and sidewinder and your away!!

its (PowerSync Unlooper) comin 2morow, and i got rom11 RevB0D so is it just connect connect run sidewinder and BOOM its open? or there are other things to b watch out for.
