Default Update Scan Problem

This might be covered elsewhere but maybe i've not been looking in the right place!

After doing a channel update I find the Favourites jumbled up, thus meaning I have to try and reorganise them again with a .cdf download or longhand.

Is there any way I can prevent this?

If you are doing a channel update of all channels then

Go to Menu / Installation / Fast Installation
Press red button for Advanced Install and turn off fav sort at the bottom. Now press EXIT (do not press OK) and now do your scan (You have to do this every time you do a scan)

If only updating one frequency then

Go to Menu / Installation / User Installation
Scroll to the frequency to be update and press OK (a tick will appear beside it).
Press blue button for Manual Scan and the box will update the channels on that freq only.

Now then.I have put the new firmware on and was missing a couple of channels,so i decided to do a manuel update of the specific freqs. With this new update though when you go to the bit that says turn off fav, this is now not available,so how do we update individual channels without cocking up the favs. .....

Which inadvertantly now leads me to another question,i have have accidently hit the fast install button so it has gone through the lot,but now when i go to my faves the whole lot is totally blank,am i now looking at putting my cdf files back on it if i don`t want to fanny about resetting them all???

the new firmware doesn't have that option now because it automatically keeps your order if you update channels.
