pace di4001n stuck in tune?

i have tried the the holding up and down button and letting go when i see boot on the box display.and everything else that has been advised to me.so i pulled the red jumper of the box.then i went into the engineers menu and my network id is showing as ***** before it was 00012.can anyone help me? my box is stuck in tune.by the way i live in leicester which i think is an ntl pure area

read the stuck on tune guide,if its showing net id as 099999 then you need to program with fun card net id setter.

thanks for the reply.the network id is just showing as *****.i have read that guide but its far too complicated for me(As it involves soldering iron etc).isnt there an easier solution?thanks

Were the cable connects to the box take out the tuner take it apart make sure that the solder hasent come loose.

thanks everybody for the help.somehow i just booted my box earlier today and guess what it worked without getting stuck in tune!!.thanks
