sb5101e to fast

hi guys. got another sb5101e did blackcat read all.saved as b/cat1 then tried to flash it but the flash finishes in like 30 seconds is it bricked ?. thanks for any help.wont flash original firmware back on it. it just says not connected

check ur soldering,and while ur at it tell us what chip ur 5101e has.
Did ur bcat lead work with the first 5101e ?

if its the st chip you have to replace flashpi.dll in blackcat

blackcat worked fine with the first one.it is picking up this one as well. says manu/broadcom part bcm3349 i did a full backup. i unchecked the verify data then i pressed write all.then browsed to the 5101 hack-bin file.but it just writes it in about 10 secs and say oper completed.i tried to put the original flash back on but the same thing happens just 10 secs then says completed.i resolderd the header same thing.how do i find which chip it his?.

Just thought it might have bin that, but if blackcat says connected it ain't that.

can u still browse to the modem ? does it reply to ping ?

what do you mean by ping?

I'm thinking if ur unable to flash it, then it must have the original firmware on it.

if u type 192.168.100.1 in ur browser what do u get ?
or if ur type in a cmd prompt ping 192.168.100.1 does it reply ?

if its flashing in 30 secs Blackcat neds reinstalling

get rid of the old one ,reeinstall blackcat than COPY 128 OVER the old blackcat files

make sure you have 1.1MS networking also installed and you get no DLL errors

Try this

oki it does this with me sometimes if i click the write all than i see i didnt untick verfi data on

untick verfi 1st than write all i know you prob are doing this but jsut checking

i found its allways best to close Blackcat and reopen it if you click something you didnt want to my mistake
