Default Just A few more questions

Hi all just a few more questions for you

I have tt-c1501 working with ukbruteforce file but I seem to be missing some channels from reading around I've come to believe i might be better doing a customized scan with just the transponders from my area (WIRRAL) Im lead to believe I can get these from a services XML. Does anyone know were I can get on of these for my area.

My second question is about splitters.
I bought a six way splitter from ebay but when I try and run my subbed modem through this splitter it drops connection soon as I go back to just the original 2 way splitter all works fine.

So at the moment I have one feed from the original ntl two way splitter feeding direct to my subbed modem and the second feeding to my six way to run my subbed box and card.

I noticed since this setup though the green dot above the channel number on my subbed box which used to be solid now flashes constantly although though the box still seems to work just fine is this something to worry about.
I also have a modded modem that at some time I would like to add to the setup but I'm guessing if my subbed modem doesn't work through the six way this wont either.

What is the best splitter solution to get two modems(if possible) a subbed box and a dvb-c card all working at the same time.

i got 2-way v*m splitter - 1 feed direct to subbed v+ box and other feed to second 2-way splitter - 1 feed to vista media centre dvb-c other feed to another 3-way splitter - 2 direct feeds to dvb-c in pc and subbed modem the other to another 2-way splitter with 1 direct feed to either a subbed pace or dbox2 the other feed goes to a 4-way booster/splitter in attic which feeds a dreambox and 2 sammys.....all work ok,,,tried a modded modem on the same line but it seems mac address conflict so all wireless.

Lolooooollllllllll..........jesus h cheerrrrissstt! How many splitters?
TT, are you saying that you use a dvb-c card in vista's media centre? If so, i assume you've reg hacked to trick vista into thinking its a fta card?
If so, would you mind telling us how you did that please? I'm having so much trouble with mediaportal, sagetv and now even progdvb and dvbdream that i'm thinking about just using vista mc with only the fta channels.

it tricks it into thinking it's scanning for dvb-t frequencies....when i bought the floppydtv a cable_uk files comes with it and you just add ur transponder frequencies for ur area and bingo...all channels streamed by v*m

it gets ALL channels but u need a hardcam, no 3rd party plugins.

have a look at this thread

FireDTV: No Channels on MCE or Viewer.
