what's the best box ? I am with sks at the moment thnking of going to cable (virgin media) shell I get the basic level please help new to this

Yes get basic subs thats always the best thing to do,
Yes you get sky sports and movies but no sky1 sky news etc
Best bet is to get something like a Kryptview or starview or ddigital or eurovox or dbox shall i go on lol depends how much you wanna spend to be honest

you can get hd box scientific atlanta boxes

some boxs are easy and some are hard,considering you want to open new stuff (ie:channels) i wouyld suggest you get a simple,cheap enough box to suit your needs,saves you going all out,finding you need to do this that and the other and having to spend more bucks or if you get wrong box.

just remember that a box gives you no guarantees whatsoever,virgin could do something tomorrow and there might not be a solution for a while or in an xtreme case there might not be a solution.

plenty of small box's that will suit your needs not that i am in posistion to recommend one.perhaps there might be someone in the trade in dustry on the forum who could give you advice.

i got pace1000t and 4000t tw boxs,they are simple enough to do and i splashed out just once on a couple items for these but,i now run a dreambox500c as the pace are pretty big and i had no room for it.so now i run the dreambox,the images dont all work from straight flash though.took me 3 tries on 3 different images to get the one that would work.
