well still having problems with diablo 2.3
have yet to get it to open up any channels
have tried digitalb with auto update off
still no joy
either i am doing something wrong or is digitalb down
would appreciate a complete walk through
i believe i am doing every thing right but you know how it is.
you get one little thing wrong and it all goes up the wall

I know this sounds basic but first check that your receiver has the correct channels tuned in.

Check that the PIDS are correct, use Lyngsat:

Have you got underworld 118 installed on your Diablo Cam?
If you have then the next thing to check is if you Have Emulators turned ON in the configuration menu, go into the Cams menu and the configuration folder.

If everything is correct then try formatting the cam, insert your cam in the Cas programmer and start up the Cas software.
Start up the Diablo software by clicking on the Cam Module tab and the 2 Diablo icons.
Click on the Cam Disk Functions and Format.
Once the format is complete click on the Upgrade Cam tab and load Underworld 118.
Once compete exit the Diablo software and click on the Utilities tab of the Cas software, if you are using a Cas 3, or newer Cas programmer, if not alter the configuration settings when the cam is replaced in your receiver.
Click on the Common Interface Host icon and enter underworld 118.
Enter the configuration folder and turn Emulators ON, also Change Emulators priority to 1 Emu 2 Cards.
Exit and replace your cam in your receiver.
If DigitAlb still will not open please post back.

you have said that sometimes underworld releases keys before they change
is it possible keys for digitalb not changed
is it poss that underworld 117 is still the one to use

I always update before the key changes so I don't know if 117 is still working. This problem sometimes occurs if you don't format your cam before loading a new file.

i did format the cam
but will re format and load 118 again later today and will also try 117

i just loaded 118 over 117 and it works fine on digitalb and 1west

is the cam being updated correctly does it finish 100% on the cas software ?

cas 3 question
when formatting the cam cas3 states fornatting will take several minutes
then comes up with format succesfully
but when i return to upgrade cam in the current operation its says "formatting cam" but there is no progress in bar

also while downloading 118 after it says making folders it then says deleting file cams is this normal as i thought when cam formatted all data was erased

yes when the new software is installed on the cam the old files are deleted as it did this on mine when it was flashing the new software

are you able to load stealth 254 on to the cam ? and then you could try loading underworld 118 over it

as far as i'm aware the keys for conax channels are coded into the underworld files so if its not working on 117 then you now need to use 118 file

also delete the underworld file on your pc and then download another copy of it and unzip it to your desktop etc then try again
