thor t1 and t2 beams aren't a problem signal is booming on these but guess my dish is too small to get the rest of the channels

1.2m is biggest i could go as the dish is near the guttering plus there is still quite a few channels i can get on thor 5 anyway

the dish i'm using on 1west is 90cm triax which is obviously not the best quality

I don't get that beam either on a Td88 with Invacom.

from looking at the footprint map i doubt anything less than 1.2m to get good reception of the channels

so going to have to upgrade the dish i think

hi there -- wod --
clear skies here tonight --- still lots of breakup -- not watchable --- on 1 metre channel master -- so - yes - i guess it needs 1.2 in this part of the country -- even that might be borderline when it rains
all the best c.c.

Just scraping them through on a Triax 1.1 in Kent.Only marginally better than 7 west.

Can't check Canal Digital as no means to descramble, but the FTA transponders are needing a higher quality reading than usual.

yes was thinking of getting an andrews or as they are now called asc signal 1.2m dish to fit on to a jaeger 1224 motor

wonder if i could get them on a gibertini 1.2m as i want something lightweight

chorleycat was you using the matched feedhorn on the dish or just standard lnb as wondering if that would make a difference ?

hi -
i,v had a number of lnb,s on the -- 1.00.metre channel master --
i tried a c 120 inverto with a channel master feedhorn and got slightly less signal than withy a standard l.n.b.f.
the one i,m using is an Edision SL-5 --0.2 db
it was a fraction better than a sharp white case 0.3 db
and a Invacom 0.3

a 1.2 metre dish might respond better to a matched feehorn ?
my 1.8 certainly does

i,v tried the above 3 - lnb,s on a 80 cm in the past and the sharp was the best on that dish ----

cheers c.c.
