ok now i have messed around with it, it has booted but cant pick up normal channels 1-5 why is this? its asking for a smart card to be inserted when it doesnt need one to pick up normal channels? any ideas

ur image on ur card is old/out of date.. is it a pasce 4000? tried the update trick?
take power out. put power back in but hold power button in to your get 0000 from bottom right buttons, press button to top to u get 4321 , wait for a update . May help
