you can put puppy linux on a USB stick and boot from that, but I seriously doubt that your hard drive is passworded just the Bios, disconnect all the batteries and cmos battery then short cmos the battery terminals together with a paper clip for 10 seconds, then power it all back up, that normally shifts it, I did this since 1991 in pc trade! (on 286's)
