engineers menu on a pace box?

Hi there,

could anyboby help me with a little problem im having, i have a couple of pace 4001 nc boxes but can't get into the engineers menu. i know you have to hold up,down when powering the box up and then says boot then diag it actually goes onto Eng Menu for a split second then goes off.

if anybody could help it would very much appreciated.

your doing it right keep the buttons in a bit longer.

i've just tried what you said but the same keeps happening it goes onto diag page bit which is all fuzzy then goe's off?

Make sure the scart is in secure, keep hold of buttons till diag shows for a minute, sometimes they can be a pain to get in, keep trying.

i've made sure the scart is properly but the same keeps happening. i've tried like ten times now.

any other advice.

Pull The Red Jummper Off For 2mins Then Put It Back On

i've tried them without cable feed and pulling the red jumper but still no good

Maybe its a faulty box ? have you got it working on free channels ?
You are in pure ntl area i take it ?

i'm in a telewest area, but i'm trying to do one for family member. i've got 4 of them, but can't get in to the engineers menu in any of them.

any help would be very much appreciated.
