flashed these 2 ambits with sigma-128

and all they do is scan for frequency all the time
been doign modems for many years yet this time am stuck and not sure what i can do next

i didnt max232 these i blackcated them one worked one time than jsut went crazy

i have other modems working on the same feeds so am guessing it cant be the feed lines

to set the modems up i used "ambitconfig0.971beta" thanks to hideki

any info i can try/do would be great

if its in pure..
what i had to do is open ambitconfig0.97beta, do all the settings for your modem, then go to area , manual configuration, then set freq to 402750000,
annex a
tuner to 14

i got the same problem mate!! mine just says tcp connection failure!!!

hi mate tryed that before with out luck

plus i am pure ntl but the freq is 331000000 down here now

plus ambitconfig dont have the annex a opition only annex 3

ye i,m in pure my freq is 331000000 is the same plus allways used annex b, but yestarday would not kick in, so messed with settings as above and got it working, with a good mac

but i cant even find the downstream at the start

did you use all the settings on ambitconfig?
or you use max232 hyperterm etc...

i use all the settings on ambitconfig, 1 thing i was doing wrong was in ambitconfig i was choosing the wrong software lol where it says firmware i chose sigma 1.6 but i had sigma x 1.25
