Bricked Modem

How can i know that the modem is bricked ? How can i know befor
buying them from e*ay that they not bricked ect..?

first do not put feed into them or they will update, if they 200s or 250s get a max cable

build 1 m8 got it from downloads FTA! a max that is ull get the lot incuding board and maybe solder for a 5er from maplins! thats if it aint took the update to effecively brick it then u need to lift a tsop which is a chip withj 24 pins on each side that u have to lift reprogramme with something like a willem then solder back to board, or buy pre done tsops if u can find em! no neeed for progrAMMER then ..to tell if its brick when pwoer is put to it therell be a rapidly flashing light or 2 u dont get that if there all rite to flash!! hope helps m8!!!

If your modem is bricked the simplest way to tell is plug only power in not the cable feed (coax cable). and if the send light flashes rapidly its bricked, free of charge.
