Post BBC Trust reprimands Top Gear

It may have been shown during the last series of Top Gear, but the BBC always manages to get through their work load, no matter how long it takes. Complaints about the behaviour of Top Gear presenters are becoming more frequent; this time the complaints were about drinking and driving, well in actual fact drinking [...]

They needed to drink gin&tonic though, as without the alcohol to lower the freezing point...

There'll be another round of complaints I'm sure after all that "c*ck"ing in last week's show (or was that one I saw on Dave...?).

Personally I think it is stupid. They wern't doing anything illegal (where they were atleast). My view is that if someone dosen't like a program on the TV they shouldn't watch it rather than spoil it for the rest of us.

Maybe we should all start complaning about the lack of such antics on the TV. It might atleast balance the complaints equation and then quality programs will be left alone.

I say we should start a petition to rename the BBC Trust as the "Stuck up old scrotes", I love watching top gear, can't stand most of the cars, but I watch it for the humour & banter and the challenges, and the Polar Special was the best!!! And yes, the alcohol would act as an antifreeze, just look at the p155ed chef of the Titanic, he survived being in the water due to him drinking so much alcohol (this is based on the actual facts, not the movie, although I do happen to live where the bansmaster was born & lived up until his death)...

So, the people who complain can stick them up their backsides!!! We've already had Mary Whitehouse making TV less fun, we don't need another like her coming along!!!

I have to agree its a bit stupid, however. Top gear is no longer a motoring show as far as I'm concerned. Its a show with 3 men playing with expensive toys and doing stupid stunts. It is one of the only programs I wish I could get a refund of my TV licence for.
