I have a Fiat Marea Weekend 105JTD. we did 854 miles 600 miles towing and the rest solo. It has a 60 litre tank. Don't like twin axle caravans, you instantly look like a traveller and you need a thirst mobile to pull it, then when you try to move it by hand you end up with lumps in places you shouldn't have them

35 MPG. But the 6th gear makes a hell of a difference, by the way, this one has no sun roof, but I never ever use the air con, that would bring the MPG down like a stone, also being able to use front whell drive only is also a big big bonus. Oh and it tows on a run at over 40 mpg(double axle one tonne Ifor Williams loaded) My first X trail about five years ago, had no air con but a sun roof, air con was an extra £1k, my latest now 18 months old would have cost an £1k for the sun roof, air con standard. Now with the price if diesel, im sure air con will not be standard. I was able to change at just under three years because the X Trail had dropped in price(new one) by £3K. I also get the MOT at 2 years 8 months, this alone is a big bonus, if anything is caught out, I still have the three year warranty to fall back on and keeps the value up, I learned this from the trade. Nothing worse than going for a MOT a few days prior to the warranty ending and have it fail on the emmissions. Bob |

I should have.
I get dragged around enough by it.
