DM500C autotransponder scan

Hi all,

I'm setting up a Dreambox 500 Cable version and the autotransponder default settings are no where close to the frequencies and symbol rate for my local service. Is there a way of changing or adding another entry to cover the range I need?

I'm using Pli Iolite and there is no cables.xml file that I can find. Not sure if I need one though.

all you need is the correct image flashing to the box.then do an autosearch.no need to input or worry about transponders.

it is basicly all done.

it digitalworlds image.dw2.19 or something.

its in the fta section.

Actually its not nearly as easy as that. I'm located in the West Indies and I trying for a Wireless cable service for which there is no information on as I am probably the only one trying to pick up this service locally.

I created my own cables.xml file and did a scan today and it worked nicely showing some 64 channels found. However when I check the channel list there are only 24 shown and even if I manually scan in a group of channels (there are 8 channels per group) if overwrites the channel list thereby deleting 8 of the existing channels????

No matter how many times I scan it will only keep 24 channels in the channels list, why is this? Any ideas??
