Sagem Dbox Scart Probs

I've searched the forum for anything regarding this but can't find a thing. I've got a sagem dbox2 that won't display anything on the tv, it's something to do with the scart connection on the box but wanted to know if anyone had any ideas what it could be? I just get a 'no signal' from my TV and it is definately connected firmly etc. All connections appear to be ok so no resoldering needed and powers up and boots ok etc.

Any ideas guys?

tried both scart connectors on the box? id as vcr either should work.

other thing is some scart cables are designed just for dvd eg and not all the necessary wires are connected.....

do u see anything boot up screen? logo?

ie tv type
do you see boot logo on tv
have you tried on other tv
do you get info on box lcd

Try D box
settings
Video setting
VCR scart Make sure thats set to Auto detect.....Paul

its my mates box, sagem, same as mine, i disconnect mine connect his so its exactly the same set up,the lcd on the box starts up but nothing comes on the tv. when i reconnect mine it starts up fine so its not a scart lead or connection problem

it may be the video settings u'll have to use the lcd but go into settings video and see if the settings are different to urs

or flash ur img onto his...as long as they have the same no. of chips

Sorry guys, not been on for a while! I've got 3 other boxes that work fine and I've reflashed with a number of images but still just get a blue screen on start up. LCD working fine, just the scart that doesn't appear to work. From what I gather it would need an entire mainboard and the scart can't be repaired. I'm hoping one of you guys will prove me wrong though!
