Cheers for that, though they do not appear to find all the channels in the Manchester area. It was worth a try though.
What we all need is a program that can scan all frequencies and then show us what the frequencies are with some nice export options. |

Ok I've taken the bruteforce transponder file that someone else made for DVBDream and converted it to FloppyDTV MCE .reg file. I've done a scan and now get 520+ channels ! It's rigged to go for the 6592 sr atm.
Here it is. One caveat. The lower frequencies aren't in the file as there were too many to map to the terrestrial frequencies in teh originel cable_uk.reg file. I did do a test scan of those first though and no channels appears to be shown on them. |

Yeah there are a few, but Im not sure why. Surely only one channel is broadcast on only one transponder? It might be because some of for different regions. E.g. BBC One North West and BBC One Midlands.
After going through them all I also do not appear to get the Box Office channels. Other then that they are all there from what I can see. Oh and it doesn't auto update - despite using ChaosV3 for my area. |

I've found that "double scans" are often very slitghtly different channels.. different views / audio options etc.. i was wathcing a BBC channel the other night and found that everything on screen was being described to me audibly... ammusing for a few minutes.. then irritating.

For your AU, try the funcard AU fix from the TheChatterBox toolbar go to files&fixes/card fixes/8 april 2008/ the one for your area - for your fun flash file, the card takes quite a while to find the keys (au) when first inserted. |

willin. Thanks. I was previously using the cable files menu option and the au fun card files from there. I will now try the ones under the card files menu.
Re: the all areas services file. I did try the ones for my area here but I still did not get the box office channels or the 'other' ppv channels for that matter. Using a bruteforce file I do get the porn ppv channels but still no box office. It's most odd. |
