Default eurovox help

i got a eurovox max 4 my friend latest firmware but channel freezing pixilating no sig message sometime box works fine at my place so box ok at his place problem ive heard if sig to strong can cause this prob sig level at mine 80 at his 95 help please

First try putting the cable to the RF out and see if that works (you will need a double female plug adapter)
If that doesn't work you may need an attenuator

Edit : also check that the signal booster option is off

Signal strength 80 seems to be about what is required for best reception,so it appears that his signal is too high,so as stated above go for a variable attenuator and tune this to get the best signal ....
