Question dvbdream transponder files

Hello everyone,

My TT-1501 should arrive Monday or Tuesday. Can't wait.

I have all the SW ready except for a ex-tw (b-ham) transponder file for dvbdream.

Can anyone help me out please?

If not will converting the progdvb uk brutforce (the-insaan's version) to the dvbdream syntax work? I have the dvbdream transponder file from the DL section and I think I can covert it! I hope! I read that the channels will scan quicker If I use the correct area.

Cheers and thanks to everyone that has posted stuff. Hopefully I wont need to ask any questions but you never know.

You should be ok, b/ham is 6952 transponder frequency (so is that file for dvbdream), don't forget you overwrite the 5000ini file in dvbdream with that file.

Good luck!

YAY!

All worked first time I have been reading this forum for a while and learning.

A MASSIVE thanks to everyone who has posted useful info.

Vista Home Premium

1) Installed DVBDream (Latest)
2) Installed Vplug (Latest)
3) Copied 5000.ini over top of the other one
4) Imported Softcam.key
5) Scanned channels using telewest transponder list
6) Manually added the key from the toolbar

Works like a dream. My next challenge is how to get the video source from my PC upstairs to my tv downstairs. I may use mediaportal and stream to xbmc. If it will work. I may just have to build a HTPC now if not :P

The picture is a bit jerky. Any suggestions? I looked for the nvidea codec but they only seem available for XP? My machine is well spec'd. It may be the on board graphics. I do have a good card in my xp machine I can try.

I managed to get media portal working. Lastest version and latest vplug. It is a bit buggy though. I really like it. I have a nice skin applied but need to get epg working now.

I have decided to build a htpc now as streaming is not an option unless someone can help me out on that.

Cheers
